Zoomies – Terms & Conditions

By booking with Zoomies, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of all dogs in our care, as well as clarity for owners.

1. Services Provided

Zoomies provides in-home dog care from our private family residence. This may include overnight stays, daytime care, feeding, supervision, enrichment, and walks where approved.

Zoomies is not a kennel, veterinary clinic, or training facility.

2. Meet & Greet Requirement

All dogs must complete a FREE meet and greet prior to their first stay.
This ensures:

  • Zoomies is a suitable environment for your dog

  • Your dog is comfortable with our family and home

  • We can understand your dog’s routine, behaviour, and needs

Zoomies reserves the right to decline a booking if we believe our home is not the right fit for your dog.

3. Eligibility & Behaviour

To stay with Zoomies, dogs must:

  • Be friendly with people and children

  • Be comfortable in a home environment

  • Be non-aggressive toward people or other dogs

  • Be up to date with vaccinations (including C5 or equivalent)

Dogs displaying aggressive, destructive, or unsafe behaviour may be collected early at the owner’s expense.

4. Health & Vaccinations

Owners confirm their dog:

  • Is in good general health

  • Is free from contagious illness at the time of drop-off

  • Is up to date with vaccinations and parasite prevention

If your dog shows signs of illness before their stay, you must notify Zoomies immediately.

5. Medication & Special Needs

Zoomies can administer basic oral medications as instructed by the owner.

Owners must:

  • Provide written instructions

  • Supply all medication clearly labelled

Zoomies cannot administer injections or complex medical care.

6. Emergency Veterinary Care

In the event of illness or injury:

  • Zoomies will attempt to contact the owner immediately

  • If contact cannot be made, Zoomies may seek veterinary care at its discretion

All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner. Zoomies will never delay care due to lack of contact.

7. Routine & Comfort

Zoomies follows your dog’s usual routine wherever possible, including:

  • Feeding schedules

  • Sleep preferences (crate, bed, blanket, etc.)

  • Walks or rest days

Owners are encouraged to bring familiar items such as beds, blankets, or crates.

8. Other Dogs in Care

Zoomies may care for multiple dogs at the same time.
Numbers are kept intentionally small and dogs are carefully matched for compatibility.

Zoomies does not guarantee constant separation unless agreed in writing prior to booking.

9. Children in the Home

Zoomies operates from a family home with children aged 10 and 6.
All dog–child interactions are supervised, and dogs are never forced into interaction.

10. Updates & Communication

Zoomies provides regular updates via text or WhatsApp.

We operate a strict communication policy — if anything appears off with your dog, you will be contacted immediately.

11. Damage & Property

Owners accept that dogs staying in a home environment may occasionally cause wear or damage.

Zoomies is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by your dog to their own belongings

  • Minor damage caused by your dog to household items

Significant damage may be discussed with the owner.

12. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking start date may be refunded or credited

  • Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit payment

Zoomies reserves the right to cancel bookings due to illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control.

13. Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Drop-off and pick-up times must be agreed in advance.
Late pick-ups may incur additional fees.

Dogs not collected within 24 hours of the agreed time, without communication, may be considered abandoned.

14. Liability

While every reasonable precaution is taken, owners acknowledge that:

  • Dogs interact with people, children, and other dogs

  • Accidents and illness can occur in any care environment

Zoomies is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or death unless caused by proven negligence.

15. Photos & Media

Owners consent to Zoomies taking photos or videos of their dog for:

  • Updates

  • Website and social media marketing

Owners may request exclusion from marketing use in writing.

16. Right to Refuse Service

Zoomies reserves the right to refuse or terminate care at any time if:

  • A dog poses a risk to people or other dogs

  • A dog’s needs exceed what can be safely provided

  • Information provided by the owner is found to be inaccurate

17. Acceptance of Terms

By booking with Zoomies, owners confirm they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
