Zoomies – Terms & Conditions
By booking with Zoomies, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of all dogs in our care, as well as clarity for owners.
1. Services Provided
Zoomies provides in-home dog care from our private family residence. This may include overnight stays, daytime care, feeding, supervision, enrichment, and walks where approved.
Zoomies is not a kennel, veterinary clinic, or training facility.
2. Meet & Greet Requirement
All dogs must complete a FREE meet and greet prior to their first stay.
This ensures:
Zoomies is a suitable environment for your dog
Your dog is comfortable with our family and home
We can understand your dog’s routine, behaviour, and needs
Zoomies reserves the right to decline a booking if we believe our home is not the right fit for your dog.
3. Eligibility & Behaviour
To stay with Zoomies, dogs must:
Be friendly with people and children
Be comfortable in a home environment
Be non-aggressive toward people or other dogs
Be up to date with vaccinations (including C5 or equivalent)
Dogs displaying aggressive, destructive, or unsafe behaviour may be collected early at the owner’s expense.
4. Health & Vaccinations
Owners confirm their dog:
Is in good general health
Is free from contagious illness at the time of drop-off
Is up to date with vaccinations and parasite prevention
If your dog shows signs of illness before their stay, you must notify Zoomies immediately.
5. Medication & Special Needs
Zoomies can administer basic oral medications as instructed by the owner.
Owners must:
Provide written instructions
Supply all medication clearly labelled
Zoomies cannot administer injections or complex medical care.
6. Emergency Veterinary Care
In the event of illness or injury:
Zoomies will attempt to contact the owner immediately
If contact cannot be made, Zoomies may seek veterinary care at its discretion
All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner. Zoomies will never delay care due to lack of contact.
7. Routine & Comfort
Zoomies follows your dog’s usual routine wherever possible, including:
Feeding schedules
Sleep preferences (crate, bed, blanket, etc.)
Walks or rest days
Owners are encouraged to bring familiar items such as beds, blankets, or crates.
8. Other Dogs in Care
Zoomies may care for multiple dogs at the same time.
Numbers are kept intentionally small and dogs are carefully matched for compatibility.
Zoomies does not guarantee constant separation unless agreed in writing prior to booking.
9. Children in the Home
Zoomies operates from a family home with children aged 10 and 6.
All dog–child interactions are supervised, and dogs are never forced into interaction.
10. Updates & Communication
Zoomies provides regular updates via text or WhatsApp.
We operate a strict communication policy — if anything appears off with your dog, you will be contacted immediately.
11. Damage & Property
Owners accept that dogs staying in a home environment may occasionally cause wear or damage.
Zoomies is not responsible for:
Damage caused by your dog to their own belongings
Minor damage caused by your dog to household items
Significant damage may be discussed with the owner.
12. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking start date may be refunded or credited
Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit payment
Zoomies reserves the right to cancel bookings due to illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control.
13. Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Drop-off and pick-up times must be agreed in advance.
Late pick-ups may incur additional fees.
Dogs not collected within 24 hours of the agreed time, without communication, may be considered abandoned.
14. Liability
While every reasonable precaution is taken, owners acknowledge that:
Dogs interact with people, children, and other dogs
Accidents and illness can occur in any care environment
Zoomies is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or death unless caused by proven negligence.
15. Photos & Media
Owners consent to Zoomies taking photos or videos of their dog for:
Updates
Website and social media marketing
Owners may request exclusion from marketing use in writing.
16. Right to Refuse Service
Zoomies reserves the right to refuse or terminate care at any time if:
A dog poses a risk to people or other dogs
A dog’s needs exceed what can be safely provided
Information provided by the owner is found to be inaccurate

By booking with Zoomies, owners confirm they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
