Intake & Compatibility Assessment
Our Compatibility Assessment is a 30 minute, relaxed introduction at Zoomies designed to help everyone feel comfortable before any daycare or overnight stay.
During this visit, you and your dog will come to our home to meet our family, explore the space, and get familiar with the environment your dog would be staying in. We take time to observe how your dog settles, how they respond to new surroundings, and how they interact with us and our children (aged 10 and 6), who are part of the daily care routine.
This visit allows us to understand your dog’s personality, energy levels, routines, and any specific needs, while giving your dog the opportunity to feel safe, calm, and supported in a new setting.
To ensure we can offer this time and care thoughtfully, a $29 Compatibility Assessment fee applies. This fee covers our intake review, preparation, and dedicated one-on-one time during the visit.

The Meet & Greet fee is fully redeemable and will be credited toward your first Zoomies booking.
Payment of the Meet & Greet fee and attendance at a Meet & Greet does not guarantee availability or acceptance for the specific care dates requested. Depending on capacity, suitable dogs may still be placed on a waitlist for future care.
For everyone’s safety, we only accept dogs who are comfortable around children and suited to a calm, in-home environment. We do not offer care for breeds or individual dogs that are assessed as unsuitable for a family home setting. This decision is always made with care, respect, and safety in mind.
Acceptance into our dog-minding services is subject to our discretion and is based on the outcome of this visit. Our priority is ensuring a safe, loving environment for your much-loved pet and our family, and we believe the right fit is essential for a positive experience for everyone.
